I hope you make time to attend the meeting “Keeping The Lights On: Powering Your Golden Home During Outages” Tuesday, Feb 3rd, 6pm Golden Community Center. My family has had many experiences with power outages. When we lived in Houston, Texas it happened multiple times a year. In Houston, we had a natural gas fired whole house generator. Here in Golden, we installed solar and a house backup battery. We also have a small gasoline fired generator that we loaned to our neighbors during the last power failure. I’m happy to share my experiences and will be at the meeting Tuesday (or give me a ring/email to setup a time to talk).
